Our club venue has  changed to The Copper Beech pub on Neasham Road, Darlington DL1 4DH

Previously, at the Darlington Arts Centre, the club had the advantage of using the efficient ticketing system which was easily available and especially reassuring for those who travelled any distance, especially for very popular guests.  We have now evolved the following systems for advanced booking. Advanced tickets may be purchased during any of our regular Thursday evening events. Just enquire at the entry desk before the show, at the interval or at the end. We now have permission from the management at the Copper Beech to use the pub as  a forwarding address for the Folk club. If you want to use this postal ticketing system send your cheque (not cash) to "Darlington Folk Club". Enclose a stamped addressed envelope and send to George Armstrong, Darlington Folk Club. C/O The Copper Beech: Neasham Road: Darlington. DL1 4DH

                                                                               LOCATION and DIRECTIONS

From Darlington town centre cross the St Cuthberts Way inner ring road heading east up Pakgate, past the Civic Theatre, under the 2 railway bridges and then right at the roundabout heading south east up the Neasham Road. Just past the TA army depot the Copper Beech is on the right ...with a big Copper Beech tree next to the pavement.

BUS ROUTES: There is a direct Arriva bus service from the town centre using the 13a and 13b routes.

BY CAR from out of town: The best plan would be to  get onto the A66 southern ring road and turn into town at the Darlington Football Stadium roundabout. Pass under the low railway bridge, accross the next roundabout and the Copper Beech is soon on the left.
