Mark "Boo" Hewerdine ] is an English singer-songwriter and record producer. His work includes lead singer and creative force behind the group The Bible formed in the 1980s, and reformed in 1994, as well as solo recordings and work for film. He has also produced records by several artists, including a long association with Eddie Reader He has been described as "one of Britain's most consistently accomplished songwriters". This is his first gig at our Folk Club and we are sure you are in for a quality evening.

Our resident club band was recently out on the streets of Darlington again busking for charity.

       Great North Road  has been playing in the outside market area over several weekends to raise money for the Butterwick Hospice and have now raised over £2500. Well done!!.

The Copper Beech is situated in the south of Darlington towards the lower end of Neasham Road just before the Geneva Road roundabout if travelling from the town centre. Approaching from out of town it is preferable to take the Darlington Football stadium turn off from the A66 southern ringroad, under the low bridge and just past the first roundabout on the left.    Singers & Musicians night 

            Our next night will be on 26TH OCTOBER. These nights usually alternate with our guest nights and are free. (Live music only)

Please come along to join in these unique, passionate and enjoyable evenings. Even if you do not perform we would like to emphasize that Listeners are always welcome. A small , voluntary, collection and raffle are promoted to help club funds.
